I write.
I make films. I tell stories. Through Silvereye Films I’ve made a bunch of short films and one feature film. I produce video projects for clients, work as a freelance director and video editor, and develop screenplays. Ultimately, my work is all about narrative truth. When I write and direct fiction I am seeking the truth of a story, a character, a situation. When I am editing a documentary I'm looking for the through line that captures the project most effectively. When I am interviewing a person on camera I am seeking that person’s authentic truth - what they care about and why. I want them to reveal why their subject really matters. Crafting complex material into a compelling narrative is my speciality. I can see the big picture, while also paying attention to detail.
